You may be wondering, who is the artist behind the art? Well, here I am! I’m Joycelyn, a self-taught artist who has been creating since I could hold a pencil as a child. Taking an art class in high school sparked my passion for entrepreneurship, and before I knew it, classmates were eagerly reaching out for my work. That moment revealed my calling as an artist and led me to a newfound purpose where I dared to paint.

DaredtoPaint was established in April 2017 and has grown into what it is today. Creating brings me joy, and sharing my art allows me to give that joy back to others. I’m known to be reserved, so I let the art do the talking.

Away from the studio, you might find me trying new foods, traveling, hunting for my next outfit, or, of course, creating even more art. But anyways before you go, thank you for supporting me in any way and welcome to the DTP family!
